"We stress the fundamentals of keeping yourself safe."

Juniors Schedule

Tuesdays: 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Thursdays: 7:00pm to 8:00pm

Saturdays: 10:30am to 12:00pm

Our Junior Program focuses on building our students self-confidence. Through the use of calisthenics and hard work their bodies become stronger and their reflexes become faster. Their power is developed both physically and mentally. As their learning progresses, they are given the opportunity to advance. Here ranks are earned not given. Students gain a sense of pride and self-esteem. They learn that the only limitations they have are the ones they place on themselves.

From the moment a student walks in the dojo, he is taught the ways of traditional Okinawan martial arts. Students are shown kata and are taught techniques that work. They are taught when to hit, how to hit, and where to hit. This is not all about fighting; but it is about knowing how to fight if forced to. We stress to avoid conflict first but be prepared if necessary.

We continuously reinforce the student’s sense of environmental awareness. We stress the fundamentals of keeping yourself safe. We know that the streets are getting more and more dangerous and we are preparing our students to know how to handle themselves.

Balance, focus and coordination is practiced and reinforced.
